RMGC 4-Man Scramble

Description: 

This is a very popular event with RMGC.  A four-player team.  Each player tees off.  The team then decides which one of the four balls the team wants to play next. Three players hit the chosen ball.  The player whose ball was chosen doesn’t hit.  The team then decides which of the three balls they want to play.  Three players hit that shot.  The player whose ball was chosen does not play. This continues until you reach the green.  The team decides which ball they want to putt.  All players can putt the chosen ball. This continues until the ball is holed. 

The team gross score is entered on the scorecard and the mobile scorecard. 

Golf is generally followed by lunch. The entry dues includes Food, Beverage, and a prize fund. 

 

Registration:

Registration for all RMGC tournaments are on-line with payments.  A player can sign up as an individual and will be paired in a group by the proshop

An individual can sign up 2,3, or 4 players to “build a ‘Team”.

An individual signing up other players for the team can have them invoiced at checkout.

An announcement goes out for a tournament about 2 weeks before the event.

Schedule:  

RMGC Club Tournaments take place on Wednesdays.  Almost always with a shotgun start.  The games change during the season.  

 

The attitude:

The is a fun game where no one has to feel the burden of performance.  The outcome is the result of players trying their best and supported by their teammates.
